We were adding video to the blog and were using Soapbox to host the videos.  However when you clicked on the video it brought you to the Soapbox site and away from the blog.  We wanted the video to run right in the blog page, as you would!  We did a search as there had to be an answer - right?!  And we found an answer in an embed video blog posting on Mike Gannotti's blog.  Mike had apparently had this same problem and had done a search and posted the answer.  Thanks Mike!

I follow a number of SharePoint blogs as you might expect - and for a time the SharePoint team blog was very active - but of late I have to say that I find Mike's blog the best for general SharePoint - at least for the customers I work with.  One of the intentions of the SharePoint platform is that you can use it as a portal - a place to start - a place to aggregate information.  Mike does this exact same thing with his blog.  He finds neat blogs and references them.  This morning I see he references blog posting from Andrew Connell, Joel Oleson and www.endusersharepoint.com among others.  He records videos with Microsoft and other folks giving nice intro / explanatory positioning / pitches.  He has great energy - he is like the Gary Vaynerchuk of the SharePoint world!  This is another blog I really enjoy.  Even my 9 year old enjoys the Vaynerchuk energy!  I picked up the Vaynerchuk link from Owen Allen's blog some time back.  By the way Owen has a very funny video posted on his blog over the weekend - if you need a laugh - do see this one!         

If you are only going to add one SharePoint blog to your list - and of course you should add more than one - then add Mike's blog to your RSS list!
