The 5 Best Templates to Maximize SharePoint for Project Management

Apr-92010

I was recently asked what the best templates were for project management.  I thought this was a good question!  Hard to answer in some ways as the best templates are the ones that suit the local needs - but a good question nonetheless.  In fact I though the question was so good that I did a short webcast on same.  You can see the recording below.

We had close to 250 register for the webcast.  As ever we did a survey at the start of the webcast.  Over 52% said they did not consider SharePoint a useful platform for Project Management.  By the end of the webcast when we redid the survey – that number had dropped to 2%.  It is really interesting that so many folks still do not see SharePoint as a Project Management platform – until they see it in action of course!

Enjoy the short webcast.

Hello, this was an excellent webcast. I was immediately struck by how much Template #3 looked like it tracked the the PMI's PMBOK. Do you have any details on how it integrates? (I'm working on my PMP, and I might get the boss to purchase Template 3 if it will help us earn more PMP's as a company. thanks Mark
