For the last few years, the City of McKinney’s IT department worked diligently on concurrent IT projects. However, while the IT department was working hard at meeting the needs of their departments (their customers), they were falling prey to a common misperception throughout so many organizations, “IT isn’t doing what I need for my department.” They decided to commission James Ewing (from Enterprise Leadership Consulting) to examine their project management processes.
