BrightWork Sales Executive – US East (ideally NY) based
The Opportunity
- BrightWork is the leading provider of innovative SharePoint applications for collaborative work and project management on the SharePoint platform
- BrightWork customers include Allianz, Allscripts, Amsurg, Fedex, Georgia Farm Bureau, Microsoft, Tetley Teas
- The BrightWork solution for customers consists of a SharePoint plug-in product called pmPoint and associated deployment services
- The right candidate will be part of a team that will help propel the BrightWork business in US East
The Role
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs and work to map these needs onto BrightWork solutions using a structured sales process
- Evangelize BrightWork as a solution for work and project management on SharePoint
- Sell directly: follow-up on warm leads given by the BrightWork inside sales team and work with these clients to closure
- Sell with and for partners: take warm leads from BrightWork partners and work with these clients to closure with and for the BrightWork partners
- This is not a Partner Management / Partner Business Development role – though it does have a “sell with and for partner” responsibility
- Be a sales resource to help sell with our key Microsoft contacts in US East
- Ideally the candidate will be based in the greater NY area – though this is not essential for the right candidate
- Most of the sales work is done using phone and web meetings with about 3 to 6 days of travel per month with key customers and partners
Candidate Profile
Some or all of the following attributes:
- Prior product / solution sales experience with a successful track record
- Successful experience selling directly and successful experience selling with and for partners
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft partner channel and field organization
- Be comfortable and experienced working to a structured selling process
- Experience in selling collaborative solutions and ideally project management solutions
- Knowledge of SharePoint as a collaborative solutions platform
- Understanding of project management as a discipline
- Great presentation skills
- Awesome interpersonal skills
- A self-starter with a high work ethic
