I had some very interesting conversations with customers this week about project and portfolio cost management.  The desire is that we need projects to be way more structured and detailed in how they manage costs.  The tension is that this is not the practice today in most groups – but it is in some groups.  What to do?!  I ended up putting a few slides together to explain a way around this dilemma.  Then today I recorded audio with the slides.  This is a short piece (only 10 minutes) but do explore this realistic way to manage project and portfolio cost management and let me know what you think!
